The Vintage Jewellery Auction| Item description: | An unusual and rare, vintage brooch and clip on earings with a Mandarin / Chinese design in cream enamel, from the 1960's designed by the American HAR Company. An American costume jewellery company formed in the mid-1950s as HARGO Jewelry Company of New York. They traded until 1968 when the founder passed away. Pieces of particular interest to collectors are the busy yet somewhat abstract figural cobra and dragon designs. |
