The Vintage Jewellery Auction| Item description: | An unusual, 'HAR' American, from 1959, vintage, necklace, bracelet, brooch and clip on earings set with a 'cobra' design. There is one stone which has become loose but this is still with the set. An American costume jewellery company formed in the mid-1950s as HARGO Jewelry Company of New York. They traded until 1968 when the founder passed away. Pieces of particular interest to collectors are the busy yet somewhat abstract figural cobra and dragon designs. |
